Lower back aching or soreness is very common during pregnancy 🤰 — even if you’ve never experienced back pain before.
Some of the reasons this can happen include:

• Postural changes
• Hormonal changes
• Abdominal separation

At Phyx, we’re here to help 💗

Your physiotherapist can support you with:
• Hands-on treatment (massage & manual therapy)
• Taping to support your back or belly
• Cupping for pain relief
• Gentle movements and exercises to help relieve pain at home

✨ Always let your pregnancy health care provider (OB, GP or midwife) know if you are experiencing back pain, so they can monitor you appropriately.

🤰 Do you currently have sharp, stabbing pain on or near your p***c bone?

Do you dread turning over in bed at night because of the pain? 😣

✨ Tip:
Instead of turning over to the other side from your back, try rolling onto your hands and knees first, and then over to the other side 💤

This will help limit movement through your pelvis and (hopefully!) make those nighttime position changes a little less dreaded 🌙
