New year, New me! 🤪

No, not really. I’m still the same old awesome me BUT my social media pages WILL be getting a little tweak.

You may have noticed the changes already 😉
Last year I was trying to juggle way too much and to make things a little easier for myself, I’ll be squishing my 2 wonderful businesses into 1!

So what does this mean for you?
Absolutely nothing really 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’ll still be offering Babywearing consultation, workshops and Kangatraining classes to all of you amazing families. The only catch is that you will find everything under the one social media account now 🙌🏻

Embraced Beginnings - Parenting Services

This is just one small way I can take a little something off my very busy plate, and focus on giving you all the best versions of me at each and every step 🥰

So make sure you’re following our main page to stay up to date with all of our Babywearing, Kangatraining info, events, tips and tricks and some exciting new things coming soon 😉
This page will still be here for awhile longer until everything is officially changed over and running smoothly 🙌🏻

In the meantime please share, tag or invite your friends and family with little ones to join our page and help spread the word 🙌🏻 Embrced Beginnings is here and ready to take over the world in 2025 💪🏼

We love the sunshine but it’s important to keep your little ones skin safe from the sun during the summer months. Here are a few tricks that can help;

☀️ Sunscreen - don't forget the top of their knees and their little feet
☀️ Long cotton layers on baby
☀️ A light cotton swaddle can be used to cover your baby’s legs and feet
☀️ Wide brimmed hat for you to wear to provide shade for your little one
☀️ Use an umbrella to provide shade
☀️ Sun hat for baby
☀️ Try and stay indoors or in the shade where possible

It’s important to note that using a carrier in summer is essentially adding an extra layer of fabric to your baby so it’s ok to say that babywearing just isn’t a good option on those horribly hot days. There’s still plenty more days in the year to enjoy those carrier snuggles 🥰

Who else is still blown away that we’re almost into next year already!? 🙋🏻‍♀️

The silly season is full of events and present shopping and crowds which makes it the perfect season to master your Babywearing. Just think about it, no prams to push while juggling shopping bags of gifts, no strangers coughing and sneezing right over your baby’s pram 😷 and no well meaning family members trying to hold bub when you’re not feeling ready to pass them around the room 🙌🏻

Now is definitely the time to break out your carrier and start getting you and bub comfortable. If you’re needing some help, I do have a few more consults free before the end of the year. Reach out if you’d like to chat more or you can book using the link below 👇🏻

Today we remember those babies born sleeping. Those we carried but never held. Those we held but could not take home. Those who came home but could not stay.

To all the families mourning their little ones today, they mattered. They were loved. They were an endless source of hopes, dreams, ‘firsts’ and possibilities. There is no timeline for grief, take all the time you need, say their names, talk about them, share the dreams you had for them. There is no place for shame here. Only love and support.

So tonight, I hope you join me in lighting a candle to honour the memories of not just our own losses but all those who could not stay. As a wave of light to those who need it the most in their darkest times 🕯️
