Market Square is progressing full steam ahead with demolition and construction works officially underway!
Thank you to our guests, Planning Minister Nick Champion and Lord Mayor Dr Jane Lomax-Smith for attending our event to celebrate this momentous milestone.
Market Square is Adelaide’s highly anticipated once-in-a-generation project revitalising the Central Market Arcade by introducing an enhanced ground-floor retail marketplace, seven-level all-electric commercial office tower, on-site childcare centre, luxury residences, stunning elevated garden retreat, and an upscale hotel.
This is Mark Gleeson from SiSea — popular seafood eatery in the Adelaide Central Markets, one of the many food options available directly below Market Square's luxury residences.
Mark can’t wait to see the Market Square development and central market expansion start to take shape and he’s already started to grow his own business in anticipation of the increased foot traffic that will be generated by the development!
With more than 10 million people expected to visit the precinct every year as a result of Market Square, there’ll be plenty of new seafood lovers to reel in!
