Light, comfort, and elegance define this mixed-use project on Apollogasse. A stepped volume wraps around a landscaped atrium, stepping down from six stories at the front to three at the rear — maximizing the site while respecting the neighborhood. Retail at ground level, offices overlooking the courtyard, and 63 residential units above.

All units feature their own generous open space, combining brightness and comfort with clear, practical layouts.

A construction Kit as prototype | 4 x 4 The Wooden Pilot

Modularity in architectural design and varied, diverse design do not have to be mutually exclusive. In the case of the wooden pilot and its prototypical building block principle, contemporary, innovative solutions to the idea of sustainability are met in addition to aesthetic and qualitative requirements.

The developed construction kit allows for four-by-four-meter space modules to be so assembled as to establish, aside from flexibly structured residential units, urban-design settings of highly different scale: from single and multifamily homes (Naufahrtweg) to nature-embedded residential quarters (Orasteig) and to landmark starter-apartment complexes (Aspernstrasse).

Gold🏅für mehr als 30 Jahre Wohnbau!
Gestern wurde Gerda Maria Gerner, Gründerin und CFO von GERNER GERNER PLUS., mit dem Goldenen Verdienstzeichen des Landes Wien geehrt.

Die Ehrung erfolgte in Anerkennung ihrer außerordentlichen Errungenschaften im Bereich der Architektur sowie ihres bedeutenden Beitrags zur Weiterentwicklung des sozialen Wohnbaus in Wien. Verliehen wurde die besondere Auszeichnung von Wiens Vizebürgermeisterin und Landeshauptmann-Stellvertreterin Kathrin Gaál. Volker Dienst würdigte in seiner Laudatio insbesondere die weibliche Perspektive auf die Entwicklung des Wohn- und Schulbaus sowie des öffentlichen Raums.

Wir sind stolz, das Jahr unseres 30-jährigen Firmenjubiläums mit dieser ehrenvollen Auszeichnung zu beginnen! Mit der Anerkennung eines Weges, der immer von Zusammenarbeit, von Haltung und von Verantwortung geprägt war.
