Playing with some toys in Rwanda with Edwin as part of a peer led cinematography lab I was part of with a magic NEWF team. In front of him are the Sony fx6 and Red Raptor. This year has been a big leap for me personally to delving into cinematography instead of videography and adjusting my mind and approach to capturing images in that way. Photography plays a huge part in what kind of cinematographer I choose to become and helps me understand how I want my shots framed, composed and eventually coloured. It was intimidating at first but I've taken to it and I'm absolutely loving it. Anyways that's not to say I've stopped shooting stills but actually really keen to do loads more portrait, landscape and street photography as well to explore and experiment more, close in on my "style" try different ones and share my favourite work 🤷🏽‍♂️
