The ideation process for creating a logo for "Tenebres," a Black/Gothic Metal band with Symphonic & Doom Metal influences highlighted by the use of cello, keyboards, and other elements, begins with an analysis of the band's identity and atmosphere.
To reflect the dark and mysterious essence of their music, the logo should convey strong symbolism. The idea of representing the band name as interconnecting roots forming a heart in the middle aligns with the dark aspect and nature theme in their music, while also serving as a symbol of unity and strength.To integrate symphonic and doom metal influences, subtle elements such as the cello and keys could be added around the roots, subtly suggesting the depth and subtlety of their music.
