Grateful. Proud. Ready for 2026! 🤩🇪🇺
As we wrap up 2025, we want to say a huge thank you to all our members, partners, and followers for the trust and energy you’ve put into our NGO.🤩
This year, we engaged with emerging professionals and recent graduates from Europe and beyond, reaching thousands of young people through policy work, conferences, summer schools, and institutional visits — growing a truly international youth-led policy community. 🌐
📈 Key milestones included the Brussels Security Bootcamp, delivered in partnership with the European Economic and Social Committee and, for the first time for our NGO, under the patronage of the European Parliament. 🇪🇺🤝
🎙️We also contributed to the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Warsaw Human Dimension Conference 2025 with a side event placing children’s rights and participation at the centre of discussions on democracy and resilience.
🤝 At the EU level, our policy and advocacy work has been particularly intense and fruitful. The ENVI focus group has been engaging at increasingly high levels with the European Commission, with important developments emerging from recent exchanges — including our meeting with Commissioner Roswall on 8 December at the Water Resilience Forum, where our NGO was recognised as a key stakeholder (stay tuned for our upcoming report).💧🌱 In parallel, the work of our SEDE group, together with DROI and AFET, has continued to strengthen our cross-cutting policy impact and institutional presence.
🚀 New partnerships, new opportunities, and new initiatives are ahead.
➡️ Join us and be part of what comes next. 📈

Europe’s unity is forged in Ukraine’s recovery. 🇪🇺🤝 The devastation brought by Russia’s full-scale invasion has tested not only Ukraine’s resilience but also Europe’s collective resolve. Amid destruction, a process of renewal has emerged — one that rebuilds not only infrastructure, but also institutions, communities, and hope.
📝 Our new policy paper, “Ukraine’s Resilience: From Destruction to Reconstruction”, by Costanza Allegri, Giusy Ciccarrelli, and Sofiia Semeniaka, edited by Anastasiia Todoruk, explores how Ukraine’s recovery is inseparable from the values that define Europe itself. It highlights how the social dimension, decentralisation reforms, and economic renewal form the backbone of a reconstruction rooted in inclusion, accountability, and shared progress.
From the protection of children and vulnerable groups to the empowerment of local authorities and sustainable development, Ukraine’s reconstruction is reshaping the very idea of resilience — turning suffering into transformation, and recovery into integration.
Europe’s future is being rebuilt today — in Ukraine.
