In collaboration with the DAAD, Fulbright Germany, and Fulbright Austria , we hosted our joint reception on Wednesday evening at CityArts Orlando as part of this year’s NAFSA conference.🌟

With more than 200 participants from across the globe, the evening offered a valuable opportunity for networking and for strengthening academic connections across the North American region. 🌐

Starting in winter semester 2026/27, the Universität Salzburg is introducing a new Major-Minor Bachelor model – giving students more flexibility than ever before.

🌍 Mix fields like science, languages, politics, or culture
📚 Build your own academic path with a major + minor or additional skill modules

The programme still follows the standard 180 ECTS structure, and graduates are guaranteed access to a Master’s programme in their major field at the University of Salzburg.

From Climate Change & Sustainability to Digital Humanities, this model opens the door to interdisciplinary learning and future-ready skills.
