In the past two weeks, Dominik and Elitza from our team went on a business trip to Japan. 🇯🇵 own.page, along with 4 other amazing startups from (.eco, , , ) was selected for the GO KANSAI 2024 program. Huge thanks to Global Incubator Network Austria (GIN) and AWS First Incubator for this incredible opportunity! Special thanks specifically to Chiara Witzemann, My Yen Lau, Julia Schanderl, Simon Psenner, and everyone involved. 🙏

We explored Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, and Tokyo 🗼, visited innovation labs and co-working spaces, and pitched our idea multiple times. Sushi Tech Tokyo 2024 🍣 was a highlight for us, where we connected with tech companies and got valuable feedback. There, we also talked to one Japanese company in our domain that already received Series A funding, which further validated that we are on the right path. 🚀

Overall, this trip gave us new strengths, inspiration, and a suitcase full of business cards 🤭. We also enjoyed Japanese culture, visited temples 🏯, beautiful locations 🌸, and bonded over super delicious cuisine 🍜.
