✨ Vorstandsreise- eine geteilte Vision, die wirkt

Beim Vorstandsbesuch in Ghana durften Simone und Cornelia erleben, wie unsere Vision – Kindern ein gesundes und glückliches Aufwachsen in ihren Familien zu ermöglichen – Tag für Tag Realität wird. Durch Projektbesuche, Gespräche mit Teilnehmer*innen und den engen Austausch mit unserem Team wurde spürbar, wie viele Menschen diese Vision mittragen und weitertragen- teilweise weit über unsere Projekte hinaus.
Allen voran:
🌟 Unser über 20 köpfiges Team, in dem jede*r mit ganz persönlicher Motivation und Expertise daran arbeitet, Kinder und ihre Familien zu stärken. Diese individuelle Hingabe ist das Fundament unserer Arbeit.
🌟 Unsere Projektteilnehmerinnen*, wie:
Irina, Weberin aus Mimima, die durch ihre Ausbildung die Schulbildung ihrer Kinder finanziert und ihre Familie versorgt. Heute gibt sie ihr Wissen an andere Frauen weiter.
Oder Dennis, der dank therapeutischer Nahrung mit vier Jahren endlich zu laufen begonnen hat. Seine Mutter erkennt nun die Anzeichen von Mangelernährung und sensibilisiert Mütter in ihrer Gemeinde, frühzeitig Unterstützung zu suchen.
Die Zeit in Ghana wirkt nach, berührt und motiviert uns, gemeinsam mit all jenen, die unsere Vision teilen, weiter für ein gesundes Aufwachsen von Kindern in ihren Familien einzustehen. ✨🌍

During the board’s visit to Ghana, Simone and Cornelia were able to see first-hand how our vision – to enable children to grow up healthy and happy within their families – is becoming a reality day by day. Through visits to projects, conversations with participants and close interaction with our team, it became clear just how many people share and champion this vision – in some cases far beyond the scope of our projects.
Above all:
🌟 Our team of over 20 people, in which everyone works with personal motivation and expertise to empower children and their families. This individual dedication is the foundation of our work.
🌟 Our project participants, such as:
Irina, a weaver from Mimima, who uses the income from her training to fund her children’s education and provide for her family. Today, she passes on her knowledge to other women.
Or Dennis, who finally began to walk at the age of four thanks to therapeutic food. His mother now recognises the signs of malnutrition and encourages mothers in her community to seek support at an early stage.
These experiences continue to touch and motivate us to keep working, together with all those who share our vision, to ensure children grow up healthy within their families. ✨

Strengthening Staff Capacity on Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Case Management.

As an organization committed to community-driven solutions for community problems, BraveAurora conducted a two-day training workshop on Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Case Management for its staff in Walewale to ensure those who come into contact with the organization and its work are protected from abuse and exploitation.

The focused on core safeguarding principles, identifying and reducing risks of harm, reporting and confidentiality, and the practical application of case management approaches. Participants also reflected on ethical responsibilities, referral pathways, and coordinated responses to ensure child-centred and accountable programming.

This capacity-strengthening initiative reinforces BRAVEAURORA’s commitment to safeguarding, professional excellence, and continuous learning, while also strengthening collaboration with partners to uphold the safety, dignity, and -being of across all interventions.

Nachhaltiges Helfen im Fokus 🌍📹
Für eine ORF Reportage begleiteten uns Isabella Purkart vom ORF und Marcus Walter von Sternblende nach Ghana. Gemeinsam besuchten wir zahlreiche unserer Projekte und sprachen mit Menschen aus unseren Partnerdörfern, um die Wirkung unserer Arbeit erlebbar zu machen.
Wir sind sehr gespannt auf den Beitrag, der in den kommenden Monaten in der Sendung Weltweit im ORF zu sehen sein wird.

Focus on sustainable aid 🌍📹
Isabella Purkart from ORF and Marcus Walter from Sternblende accompanied us to Ghana for an ORF (Austrian National TV) report. Together, we visited numerous projects and spoke with people from our partner villages to show the impact of our work.
