Someday, we won’t remember the things we owned.
We’ll remember the mornings that felt slow, the places that changed us quietly, and the moments that didn’t need proving.
We’ve never been drawn to collecting things.

We’ve always chosen experiences over things — not the loud kind, but the meaningful ones.
The kind that shape you, stay with you, and redefine what intentional living really means.
This is what slow travel has taught us.

That meaningful travel isn’t about how far you go, but how deeply you live a place.

Staying longer. Moving slower. Letting life unfold without rushing it.
Maybe that’s what we’re really building.
Not a life full of things — but a life full of memories, presence, and purpose.

Save this for someday.

Street photography was never really my thing — until Kuala Lumpur. Between weathered walls, neon towers, painted alleys, and city views from above, I’ve found myself enjoying the rhythm of urban storytelling through my lens.

Did you know these English words actually come from Malay? 🌺

✨ Tea = Teh, Bamboo = Mambu, Gecko = Geko… Languages travel just like people do.

Which one surprised you the most? đź‘€

Some goodbyes feel heavier than others — even when you’re chasing a dream.
Leaving Mauritius was harder than I expected.
It had become our home, our anchor.
And the idea of jumping into the unknown — this time through Asia — felt overwhelming.

Not just because of the distance, but because of everything I’d read and feared: the chaos, the intensity, the unknown pace of it all.
We’re starting with three months in Malaysia.
For Will, it’s a dream come true.
For me, it felt like reverence… mixed with fear.
But Kuala Lumpur has surprised me.

This city has welcomed us with warmth, ease, and energy.
The friendliness, the unexpected beauty, the way nature and architecture sit side by side — it’s softened my hesitation.
And what once felt daunting… has become something I now look forward to.

Somehow, this city has started to feel like a friend.
I’ll be sharing the good, the bad, and the honest moments from our time here in this new chapter — through photos, stories, and behind-the-scenes glimpses.

This is travel notes & feelings — my way of showing what travel really feels like.
