Miss Bahr El Ghazal CEO Akot Anyar Dies After Surgery Complications in Juba

The entertainment and fashion community in South Sudan is mourning the untimely death of Akot Anyar, the CEO of Miss & Mr. Bahr El Ghazal, who passed away on Saturday at Juba Teaching Hospital, this is according to multiple sources on social media.

Anyar, died from complications during surgery while giving birth to her second child. Despite efforts to save her life, doctors were unable to prevent the tragedy, Dalwuot Media reports.

Her sudden passing has sent shockwaves across South Sudan, with friends, colleagues, and admirers flooding social media with tributes, prayers, and messages of condolence.

Many remembered Akot not only as a trailblazer in the beauty and entertainment industry but also as a vibrant, inspiring young woman who encouraged others to pursue their dreams.
