Heute ist Global Recycling Day ♻️

Ein Tag, der uns daran erinnert, unsere Ressourcen zu schützen und den Übergang zu einer Kreislaufwirtschaft zu beschleunigen – ein Ziel, dem wir bei EREMA seit Beginn verpflichtet sind.

Wie Gerold Breuer, Head of Marketing bei EREMA, betont: Die Nutzung nachhaltiger Kunststoffprodukte ist längst kein „Nice-to-have“ mehr. Sie wird künftig der Maßstab für Wettbewerbsfähigkeit sein. Denn zukünftige Generationen werden recycelte und recycelbare Kunststoffe als Standard erwarten. Unternehmen, die nur auf kurzfristige Gewinne setzen, werden zurückfallen.

Deshalb möchten wir heute die Kunststoffindustrie aufrufen:
1️⃣ Produkte recyclingfähig designen
2️⃣ Rezyklate in neue Produkte integrieren
3️⃣ Starke, langfristige Partnerschaften entlang der Wertschöpfungskette aufbauen

Edvanced Recycling ist keine Schnelllösung. Aber diejenigen, die sich jetzt engagieren, werden die Standards von morgen gestalten.

A day that reminds us to preserve our resources and accelerate the transition towards a circular economy - a goal we at EREMA have been committed to since the very beginning.

As Gerold Breuer, Head of Marketing at EREMA, emphasises: Using sustainable plastic products is no longer a nice‑to‑have. It will be the benchmark for competitiveness in the future. Because future generations will expect recycled and recyclable plastics as the standard. Companies that focus only on short‑term gains will fall behind.

That’s why today we want to call upon the plastics industry:

2️⃣ Integrate recycled content into new products
3️⃣ Build strong, long‑term partnerships across the value chain

Edvanced Recycling isn’t a quick fix. But those who commit now will shape the standards of tomorrow.
