Otra foto de una chinche… ¿por qué? Porque sí.
Esta es una ninfa de Pentatomidae, un estadio juvenil en el que todavía no se desarrollaron las alas, pero donde ya aparecen las complejas estructuras del exoesqueleto, las punctuaciones de la cutícula y los patrones simétricos característicos del grupo.
Incluso en estado ninfal, estas chinches ya utilizan su aparato bucal perforador-suctor para alimentarse de savia y otros fluidos vegetales, perforando tejidos mediante una probóscide especializada.

Another photo of a stink bug… why? Because yes.
This is a Pentatomidae nymph, a juvenile stage in which the wings have not yet developed, but where the complex structures of the exoskeleton, the punctuations of the cuticle, and the characteristic symmetrical patterns of the group are already visible.
Even at the nymphal stage, these bugs already use their piercing-sucking mouthparts to feed on sap and other plant fluids, piercing tissues through a specialized proboscis.
