CONTROL STUDIO

Thanks CGchannel for showing our work on The Eternaut!

Here's a selection of the 200 VFX shots we delivered as CONTROL Studio for the Argentine sci-fi series The Eternaut, produced by K&S Films for Netflix.

-We first joined this project on 2020's pandemics, thanks to K&S (and specially to Ezequiel Rossi who trusted in us), to stablish a workflow that allowed us to scan many places of Buenos Aires city with new photogrammetry techniques and cover it with digital snow.

-Joining forces with K&S, we created a new inhouse team (supervised by Ignacio Pol and Pablo Accame) that allowed us to create more than 30 virtual backgrounds based on real locations that were later delivered and used by all the VFX vendors to create the set extensions of the show.

-We supervised on set the of all the shots on the giant LED walls from CineArte Cacodelphia

-We also were the On-Set VFX Supervisors of many scenes and later in post-production we technically supervised along director Bruno Stagnaro, cinematographer Gaston Girod and production designer Maria Battaglia all the shots of the show that came from different vendors of the world.

-Together with the K&S inhouse team + our CONTROL Studio team (supervised by Nicolas Gonzalez) we finished almost 1000 VFX shots using Unreal Engine as the main renderer and encouraged all the other vendors to follow this incredible real-time workflow. This was really epic!
