📌ADB and Ameriabank partner to expand MSMEs and green finance in Armenia

🇦🇲 Ս․թ․ մայիսի 20-ին #ԱԶԲ մինչև 100 միլիոն ԱՄՆ դոլարի վարկ տրամադրելու պարտավորություն ստանձնեց Ameriabank ՓԲԸ-ին՝ Հայաստանում միկրո, փոքր և միջին ձեռնարկությունների (ՄՓՄՁ), այդ թվում՝ կանանց պատկանող բիզնեսների վարկավորումն ընդլայնելու նպատակով։ Վարկային միջոցների առնվազն 25%-ը կուղղվի համապատասխան «կանաչ» ՄՓՄՁ-ներին՝ աջակցելու վերականգնվող էներգիայի, էներգաարդյունավետության, կայուն գյուղատնտեսության, կանաչ շենքերի և մաքուր տրանսպորտի ոլորտներում ներդրումներին։ ԱԶԲ-ն նաև մինչև 125,000 ԱՄՆ դոլարի տեխնիկական աջակցություն կտրամադրի Ameriabank-ին՝ փողերի լվացման և ֆինանսական հանցագործությունների դեմ համապատասխանության համակարգերի ամրապնդման նպատակով։

On 20 May, ADB committed a loan of up to $100 million to Ameriabank CJSC to expand lending to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Armenia, including women-owned businesses. At least 25% of the loan proceeds will be directed to eligible green MSMEs to support investments in renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable agriculture, green buildings, and clean transportation. ADB will also provide technical assistance of up to $125,000 to strengthen Ameriabank’s anti-money laundering and financial crime compliance․
