On December 17, Yerevan became a hub of knowledge, leadership, and innovation as PMI Armenia successfully hosted the Project Management Conference and Awards 2025, an event dedicated to elevating the role of project management in shaping the future of our country and region. This event would not be possible without personal contribution of Project Management by Astghik Sahakyan, who leads Armenian PMI chapter.

This year’s conference was especially significant, marked by the presence of Pierre Le Manh - President of Project Management Institute, whose participation highlighted Armenia’s growing recognition within the international project management community.

We were also inspired by the powerful presentation delivered by Grace Najjar, whose insights demonstrated how structured project management can drive transformation not only within organizations, but across sectors and entire economies.

In addition, the event brought together leaders from PMI chapters across other countries, including Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Italy, creating a truly collaborative regional platform and showcasing Armenia’s active integration into the global PM ecosystem.

This event was more than a ceremony. It was a statement:
Armenia has the talent, the expertise, and the ambition to lead.

Green Construction & Sustainability: A Responsibility We Can No Longer Postpone in Armenia 🌿🏗️
The ecological situation in Armenia is deteriorating year by year, and the construction industry, one of the most impactful sectors, cannot remain outside this reality.

Transforming the construction industry cannot be achieved by one party alone. It requires shared responsibility:

🏗️ discipline from contractors and subcontractors
📑 clarity and enforcement by regulatory bodies
🎯 accountability from project managers and consultants

Only through joint effort can Armenian construction reach an international level, protect people, and reduce its environmental footprint.
