How does the ventilated facade of Teryan 5 building work?

The ventilated facade generally consists of three parts: inner surface, insulating layer and outer surface. The inner surface, being directly on the outer wall of the building, has the primary purpose of supporting the outer surface of the facade. It is also the surface that the insulating layer will adhere to. The outer surface, on the other hand, is commonly referred to as the "finish".

This structure allows you to create an air pocket between the interior and exterior surfaces, allowing air to move freely, which is the key to a ventilated front.

Teryan 5 cladding travertine slabs are attached to the monolith of the building with 60,588 stainless steel HALFEN anchors.

This cladding system creates an air corridor between the facade of the monolith and building, which in turn contributes to the ventilation of the building by the quick evaporation of moisture. Therefore, residents have the opportunity to use energy more efficiently in everyday life.
