Today, we launched our community health education activities in Marmarashen village as part of the Ararat Health Program.
Diabetic patients from displaced Artsakh families and vulnerable community members received education on healthy nutrition, foot care, and diabetes self-management — along with glucometers and test strips to help them regularly monitor their glucose levels at home.
This kind of practical, continuous support can truly improve long-term health outcomes and quality of life.
We are deeply grateful to our loyal donors from the Armenian communities of Argentina, Uruguay, and the USA for making this care possible and standing beside these families with such generosity and trust. 🇦🇲🇦🇷🇺🇾🇺🇸

🎗 Today, February 4th, is the World Cancer Day. There are 2 vaccines that can help prevent cancer. FIDEC President Dr Daniel Stamboulian encourages to stay aware, arm yourself against and march on towards a healthy tomorrow!
‼️Prevention of Cancer:
Although many forms of cancer are not preventable, some people will still be diagnosed with cancer even if they lead a healthy lifestyle. Cancer risk can be lowered in a number of ways, including:
✔️Consuming a nutritious diet high in fruits and vegetables and low in processed foods and red meat
✔️ Regular exercise and maintenance of a healthy weight
✔️ Abstaining from the use of to***co products
✔️ Minimum alcohol consumption
✔️ Taking precautions against ultraviolet rays include using sunscreen and wearing protective clothing
✔️ Participating in the recommended cancer screenings on a regular basis
✔️ Avoiding exposure to harmful chemicals in the environment
‼️Vaccination against human papillomavirus (HPV) that can cause cancer.
