🏞️The Putorana Plateau is a mountainous area in the far north of Siberia famous for the beauty of its untouched nature and places where literally no humans have ever set a foot.

🎣There are over 25,000 lakes on the plateau, and it's a perfect place for fishing - grayling, char and taimen can be found there.

✨However, the climate on Putorana is really severe with an average winter temperature of -32 C (-26F). The spring comes here only in June. July, the warmest month, boasts average temperature of +8 C (46 F).

✈️To get to the Putorana Plateau, take a flight to Norilsk. From there you can take a helicopter tour or get to the plateau by boat (in summer) / snowmobile (in winter). There are neither hotels, nor restaurants there - get ready to sleep in a camp and cook food over a fire. Not really comfortable, but it's the best way to feel unity with nature and the majesty of this place.
