Traffolyte, sometimes spelled Traffolite, was a brand name for multi-layered phenolic plastic sheets suitable for engraving. The material is made up of three layers, the outer layers being engraved to expose the contrasting core.

Engraving is the practice of incising a design onto a hard, usually flat surface, by cutting grooves into it.

Etching is the process of using strong acid or mordant to cut into the unprotected parts of a metal surface to create a design in intaglio in the metal

Embossing implies raised letters or designs, Embossing on paper or other materials is the process of producing sunken or raised designs, or reliefs. Embossed images or designs can be felt because they are on a different level than the surrounding area, and are three-dimensional.

Difference Between Tinned Copper & Bare Copper ?

Bare copper bar - is made from super and high pure copper , and the cross section often is rectangle or rounded rectangle whose main application is to deliver current and connecting electrical equipment. The conductive performance of copper is better than aluminum, so bare copper tape is widely use in electrical and distribution equipment.

Tinned coated Copper Bus Bars are used for rigid electrical connections, which offer a very efficient solution. Resistivity in copper bars is very low, 25 in^2 bar 1 foot long is only 0.0000329 Ohms-roughly 8 Watts lost at 500 Amps. Tin plate works well to prevent corrosion and provide a good, clean contact surface. Moreover Copper oxidizes and the oxides do not stay on the copper well. When they come off there is more copper exposed, which in turn oxidizes, and so-on. Also the oxides do not conduct well. This causes poor electrical contact, which then gets hot and increases the oxidation rate. The oxides, because of their poor conductivity, also cause arcing at the electrical contacts, eroding the copper. Due to this reason Tin Coating is recommended for busbar in most applications
