A list of bugs that give attackers access to workloads inside organizations’ virtual environments when grouped was found and VMware has raised a critical security update to address these issues in its ESXi, Fusion, and Workstation products, including VMware Cloud Foundation versions. VMware stated that these bugs can be classified as critical when grouped together and patching VMware ESXi, Fusion and Workstation is the fastest method to resolve the issues. VMware also suggested that organizations could also remove USB controllers from their VMs as a workaround.
