As proud House Riggers at Etihad Arena, Unusual Rigging & Engineering were delighted to support the International Arabian Horse Championship (13-15 February) with top rigging services for this prestigious event.
Showcasing some of the world’s finest Arabian horses, the championship is a celebration of heritage, precision, elegance and excellence.
Working within one of the region’s premier venues, the URE team provided the top rigging infrastructure required to safely and seamlessly support the event’s production elements. As always, meticulous planning, collaboration and technical expertise underpinned every aspect of the installation.
It is always a pleasure to support events of this calibre at Etihad Arena, and we are proud to play our part in delivering world-class experiences in the UAE.

In January, the URE team was busy at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the co-located WFES and UMEX exhibitions at ADNEC , delivering a major rigging and equipment hire package across consecutive international events.

We installed...
- 800 hoists
- 4,500m of truss and spreaders
- Specialist crew on site for install and the event itself

Dealing with everything from compressed schedules to complex changeovers, our teams focused on safe, efficient and reliable delivery throughout.
We are proud to support events like this that bring global leaders together in sustainability, energy and innovation.

When needed to transform Etihad Arena into a fully functioning theatrical space for the hit musical, Beetlejuice, Unusual Rigging & Engineering LLC delivered.
In just 24 hours, the team installed 11 automated fly bars, 11 static bars and 230 motors within an extremely compact roof space — all supporting a high-speed, high-load Kinesys automation system.

With scenic pieces weighing up to 400kg, millimetre-tight tolerances and speeds of 2m/s, accuracy had to be spot-on! Loads were monitored using Libra and Eilon cells ensuring every movement ran safely and precisely.

We’re working hard behind the scenes, supporting Proactiv Entertainment as Mary Poppins prepares to fly into .ae. The much loved classic musical is set to delight fans of the no-nonsense English nanny,
