Last week's number 1 dropped to second spot, and edged ahead of Christmas animation by about 700 admissions.

Emirati drift film sequel broke into the band of frontrunners in its first week, knocking back musical behemoth Bohemian Rhapsody into the last top-5 spot by just over 1,000 admissions.

"TOP 5" UAE Box Office 3-day Weekend

The weekend saw the box office overrun by new arrivals as Tamil film took top honours closely followed by Bollywood action flick Thugs Of Hindostan which landed second spot 7,000 admissions behind.

in third spot was Christmas animated comedy starring Benedict Cumberbatch which managed to squeeze past musical biopic by under 1,000 admissions.

In fifth spot and wrapping up an exciting movie weekend was surprise hit . The action fiction finished 10,000 admissions off the top four but still managed a respectable finish to wrap up the top 5 films at the weekend.

Submarine war flick managed to top the UAE box office once more, edging a close fight with first-weeker by less than 50 admissions.

The second week for horror film also took on a bright shade with a respectable third place finish, dropping from second from a huge performance in its previous weekend.

Close behind by just over 500 admissions was Badhaai Ho which once more managed to fend off competition to finish in fourth, ahead of a massive 5th week straight run for which wrapped up the top-5 just over 2,000 admissions behind.
