This role revolves around good communication and your duties include:

• Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
• Planning and preparing presentations (say hello to PowerPoint)
• Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
• Overseeing the development of marketing literature
• Writing reports
• Providing management with feedback

Duties and responsibilities of a Business Development Manager

If the thought of working remotely or from home interests you, this could be the perfect role as you’ll be required to spend a large amount of time prospecting on social media and attending online networking events. You’ll usually work office hours, Monday to Thursday but be flexible to attend online meeting with clients outside normal working hours.
