Our client, who specializes in the manufacture of pipes & tubes and performs different kinds of fabrication work in stainless steel is looking for a Qualified and experienced Production and Fabrication Engineer to join their team.



Key Role Specific Accountabilities
* Industry experience in UAE with stainless steel fabrication and manufacture / production of SS pipes and tubes
* Extensive technical knowledge of fabrication processes and machine operation
* Ability to read cad drawings, estimate costs and provide quotations for fabrication jobs.
* Preparing drawings and providing detailed instructions to technical staff on how to execute the work.
* Site visits as required to take measurements or assess technical requirements and advise clients accordingly.
* Ensuring the project is executed well and in a timely manner, controlling quality of all outgoing deliveries.
* Required to lead, train, and supervise junior engineers and foreman to oversee the factory floor effectively.
* Experience with maintaining various machines and ensuring smooth operation of the factory floor.

Person Specific Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent certification
Minimum Experience: 5 yrs relevant industry experience
* Leadership qualities with strong coordination and communication skills
* Result-oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
* Ability to inspire the team and work well with others
* A team player capable of working in a collaborative manner

Valid UAE driving license

Responsibilities
-Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
-Using a range of computer software for developing detailed designs
-Undertaking complex calculations
-Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
-Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
-Resolving design and development problems
-Managing budgets and project resources
-Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
-Making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
-Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
-Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
