Mercedes-Benz 280 SE (W108/W109) – Timeless German Elegance 🇩🇪✨

Spotted on Dubai roads like it never left its era.
This is the legendary Mercedes-Benz 280 SE, produced in the late 1960s–early 1970s, a car that defined luxury long before screens and sensors took over.

Powered by a 2.8-litre inline-6 engine, the 280 SE was known for its silky-smooth ride, rock-solid build quality, and unmatched comfort. Everything you see here — the chrome bumpers, clean body lines, upright stance — screams old-school class.

Back then, this wasn’t just a car…
It was a status symbol, often owned by diplomats, business tycoons, and royalty.
Even today, it turns more heads than most modern cars on the road.

Proof that real luxury never ages.

Toyota has unveiled the all-new 2026 Hilux, marking a major update for its long-running pickup. Here’s what’s new:
• The ninth-generation Hilux now includes a fully electric version (BEV), alongside the familiar diesel and petrol engines.
• A hydrogen-powered variant is also planned for 2028, expanding Toyota’s fuel options further.
• The design takes cues from the Tacoma, featuring a more angular body, new LED headlights and a bold wordmark grille.
• Only the double-cab configuration will be offered this time, based on global demand trends.
• Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned with dual 12.3-inch displays, physical controls for key functions and improved ergonomics.
• The electric version uses a 59.2 KWh battery, offering around 240 km of range and up to 1,600 kg of towing capacity.
• The 2.8-litre mild-hybrid diesel remains the most capable for heavy-duty work, with a towing limit of 3500 kg.
• Toyota has added modern tech such as electric power steering, ADAS features, over-the-air updates, and new driver assistance systems.
• The new Hilux goes on sale in Europe this December, with the diesel mild-hybrid version to follow next spring.
