✈️ From Donny to Dubai! ✈️

So, I’ve heard “Winter is coming” back home in the UK and I can’t say I’m going to miss it!

It was around this time last year that I was sat working from home, freezing! Questioning where my life was going. I couldn’t progress any further in my job role, I no longer felt motivated, I was wishing away the week waiting for the weekend to come and when it did there wasn’t much to do, I felt stuck! So, I made it my goal to relocate to a new country and secure a job before the new year, and that’s exactly what I did.

I’d visited Dubai a few times before and I never wanted to leave when it was time to get back on the plane home. After speaking with a few people that had already made the move to Dubai, I decided to focus on securing a job here and make Dubai my new home.

Life here is so different in comparison to back in the UK. You’re surrounded by the most driven people from all over the world, it really helps you stay motivated and pushes you to achieve more. Not only that, but the sun is constantly out! So, there’s always plenty to do during your time off. There’s no tax on your earnings, and the opportunities here are endless. Did I mention it’s one of the safest places in the world to live too! There’s so many more reasons Dubai is a great place to live, but if I don’t stop now I’ll go on forever. I can honestly say it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made relocating here, and Dubai already feels like home!

Having said that, I’m currently recruiting sales agents to join our team. You’d be working in both the primary and secondary market, helping clients find their dream homes and make solid investments. The role doesn’t come without its challenges, but the potential earnings and rewards are huge! 🌟 I’m always getting asked what to expect working as a real estate agent during the first few months, so here is it;

💻 Training – During your first week you’ll received full training from our general manager, but it doesn’t stop there. You’ll always be supported by your team and managers too. Every Monday you’ll be updated with the latest news and market trends, you’ll also be receiving and attending developer presentations to learn all about the new and upcoming projects. You’ll always be learning whilst working in this industry, and we’ll be here to support your journey.

📲 Calling & Listings – Be prepared to be making a lot of calls, getting out there and networking too to get your listings. This will be very important, especially in the initial stages. Here at USH you’ll be working in both the primary and secondary markets, so although you’ll be getting leads from our campaigns for the off-plan properties, having your listings in the secondary market is just as important. These listings will be put on property finder and Bayut, building your property portfolio, helping you become recognised and bringing in more leads.

📈 Branding – Building you brand and being recognised is extremely important in this field. You’ll need to start building your brand straight away. Here as USH we have an in-house marketing team to help, so you’ll be able to make your own campaign videos! We always suggest setting up and building your social media accounts such as Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn. Make sure you’re making calls, sending your WhatsApp messages, always networking, building relationships and getting in front of people.

📣 Be prepared to hear no – You’ll be putting in a lot of work, working beyond your office hours, missing out on seeing friends and you’ll be hearing no a lot. There can be a lot of disappointment working in this industry, being told no after making 100 calls, having a deal fall through at the last minute. But you have to stay positive, focus on the goals and keep going, it’s the people that keep themselves motivated and don’t give up that succeed. Keep a positive attitude, stay motivated and the rewards can be huge. The earnings in this industry can be life changing and it’s rare to find opportunities like this anywhere else.
