We are thrilled that Dr. Thomas Christiansen is part of ALLT 2024. Dr. Christiansen has taught at various higher education institutions in Apulia (Italy), Poland, and the UK. He is also a language teaching and testing consultant. He has published books and numerous articles on discourse and cohesion, systemic linguistics and functional grammar, varieties of English, ELF, teaching English, language testing, and the analysis of different corpora, including spoken discourse.
Dr. Christiansen is going to interact with the audience through two titles:
1) Learning Scenarios to promote communicative language learning with digital tools and A.I.
2) Speaking Naturally in the Classroom: communicative exercises to enhance and assess students’ competence in spoken discourse.
