The PMD of Manicaland Doctor Mukuzunga appreciates Faith Leaders for rolling up their sleeves to join the fight against Malaria. He refuses that his Province remains top of the list in the country regarding Malarials cases and and deaths.
The Moslem Community in Manicaland represented by Aisha Tiputipu say No more Malaria deaths and cases. She committed to train those in her sphere of influence to seek early treatment for any malaria related cases.

Religious leaders in Mutare have received malaria health advocacy training at St Andrews Methodist Church, aimed at strengthening community responses to the disease. The training, organised by faith-based organisation Flame, equipped church leaders with knowledge and skills to promote health awareness and encourage positive practices. Manicaland Provincial Medical Director Dr Munyaradzi Mukuzunga said involving religious leaders is key to disseminating information on malaria prevention and treatment. The leaders have pledged to implement their newfound knowledge and raise awareness in their communities.

In Dec FLAME Mudzi joined Malaria Partner Zim to view Treatment sheds that are being built by MPZIM for the Commumity Health Workers. Thank you Rotarians Thank you MPI. Thank you Bishop Mangiza and MOHCC for gracing this event.
Rotarians around the world are taking action in the fight to end malaria. This work remains urgent. According to the latest World Malaria Report, an estimated 282 million malaria cases and 610,000 deaths were reported globally, with approximately 75% of deaths occurring among children under five.
In Zimbabwe : As of September 14, 2025, Zimbabwe has recorded over 139,925 malaria cases and 376 deaths, reflecting a severe surge compared to 2024. This spike, exceeding 300% in some regions, is driven by heavy rains, increased mosquito breeding, and reduced preventive measures.
