*** Dried Kapenta Croutons - Recipe ***
Ingredients:
• 1 - measuring cup Hozelock kapenta (soaked for 10mins to remove excess salt), chopped
• 2 - measuring cups all purpose flour, sieved
• 1 - teaspoon cooking oil of choice
• Enough water to form soft dough
Method:
Combine all ingredients in bowl to make a soft, but non-sticky dough.
Divide into three equal squares. Form each square into a twist by rolling it along a board and shaping.
Bake in pre- heated oven at 180°C for 10 - 15mins, or until light brown.
Serve hot, with soup of choice as a twist or broken and laid on top of soup.
