Chisomo Drop In Centre, a child care facility was chosen by DFSI to take the journey, knowledge and advocacy of teaching and showing underprivileged children of the center on the importance and reality of food as a social tool to transform lives especially for the underprivileged. Highlighting the need and importance of awareness from a young age as the organization is youth driven and enthusiastic about the younger generations participating, learning and exploring growth in the food and nutrition sector especially in Zambia.A seed a day is a meal tomorrow.

As Drive Food Systems Initiative allow us to introduce you to one of our Founder and Executive Director Mr Aaron Sakala,who is a Food systems advocate and Nutritionist by profession.
Mr Aaron Sakala got inspired to provide alternative solutions to food insecurity and malnutrition in Zambia and across Africa hence establishing an organization that will emphasize and focus on practical implementations of promoting food diversification to promote food and nutrition security with the help of the government, civil societies and other stake holders with common interest.
As DFSI we embark on thriving and sustainably growing to eradicate poverty and hunger being among the the sustainable development goals.
