Before I became a kansanshi mine girl, I mean before I became a girlfriend to all kansanshi mine workers, I wanted to do my scone business at an international level buy doing it from beightbriege boarder, the boarder post between South Africa and Zimbabwe. According to my research, this boarder post is one of the most busiest boarder in Africa but a number of factors made me stay in Zambia and establish myself at kansanshi mine.
I didn't have enough capital to move to south Africa. By then I had something like a k15000 and it wasn't enough to move and live in between south Africa and Zimbabwe. I felt too young to take such a risk knowing that incase of anything
I will have none to back me up financially, emotionally, spiritually exetra.
But I must inform you the prestigious family that this year will be the last one that I will be doing my business at a vending level. As the year ends and the new one begins, I must have workers who will be incharge of baking and selling or i must start a bigger and better business other than baking. My job will be to supervise and direct.
I have been a street vendor for too long and now is time to move to the next level. It's time to do business as a university graduate and put into practice the knowledge, wisdom and intelligence I got from the university of Zambia.
It's time for a redefined phase and chapter in my life.
