I'm slowly getting convinced that the "P" on Prayer stands for "PERSISTENCE". Because in verse 8 of Luke 11, the reason he is waking up to give him bread is not based on the fact that they're really friends, but that he was PERSISTENT. So yes they are friends, but that's not generally why he is giving him. He gave him because of his persistence, and he gave him much more than he needed.

Very similar to the parable of the "Persistent Widow" in Luke 18. The judge answered her not because she was a widow, but because of her persistence, he got tired and said let me give her what she wants so I can rest or else she will kill me 🤣.

May the Lord grant us strength and grace to stay PERSISTENT in all things and especially in Prayer!
