FORMER Copper Queens head coach Bruce Mwape has died at the age of 67 after suffering a stroke.
Mwape died in the early hours of today around 04:00 hours at Nchanga Mine Hospital in Chingola, where he had been receiving treatment.
His son Chikonde Mwape confirmed the death, saying his father was diagnosed with a stroke last Wednesday after undergoing medical tests.
Chikonde said the former coach had been unwell since then and was initially treated at Nchanga Mine Hospital before being referred to Kitwe for further medical attention.
He later returned to Nchanga Mine Hospital, where he passed away.
