Field Lesson | Agrilearn Initiative 🌱

After very heavy rains, our planter kept getting blocked, making proper seed and fertilizer placement impossible. To stay on schedule, we adapted—using a ripper to open planting lines, with teams following behind to plant manually.

As former South African leader P. W. Botha once said: “Adapt or die.”

Key takeaway: Successful farming demands flexibility. When conditions change, timely adaptation is better than waiting and losing the season.
