Job Purpose
The Head-Finance and Administration reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The role holder is responsible for all for shaping Digital Shared Services Limited’s financial matters, optimizing the Company’s internal day-today processes, and ensuring that the company operates with agility and efficiency. S/He controls the flow of cash through the organization and maintains the integrity of funds, securities and other valuable documents; S/he manages the organization’s finances and is responsible for the soundness of the organization’s financial controls and financial reporting; and manages and provides leadership across finance, administration and operations teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy and Planning
Develop the company and departmental strategic plans and budgets
Lead and manage the entire finance function, including accounting, financial reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Control of the Company’ s expenditure and identification and implementation of cost saving measures
Ensure financial records and systems are maintained in accordance with the Companies Act requirements and International Financial Reporting Standards
Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, revenue expenditure, capital expenditure, departmental budgets, salary updates, ledger and account maintenance and data entry
Board pack preparation and presentation
Compliance and Tax planning
Capital raising to meet the company’s’ funding requirements
Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives, optimize capital allocation, and manage risk
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of finance systems and technologies
Build and lead a high-performing finance & administration team
Client Acquisition and Account Management
Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures that align with the company's overall strategy
Optimize operational processes and drive efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop and implement policies and procedures for managing vendor relationships, procurement, and risk management
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of operational systems and technologies
INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONTACTS

External-Vendors, partners, customers and regulators
QUALIFICATIONS
Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 credits including English and Mathematics
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or Business related course
Full ACCA/CIMA qualification and membership with ZICA
MBA or equivalent qualification, preferably in Finance or Business Administration would be an added advantage
Minimum Five (5) years of experience in a senior finance or operations role, ideally within the Fintech industry
Proven track record of success in leading and managing teams, developing and implementing strategies, and driving results
Deep understanding of relevant financial and regulatory frameworks
Experience with financial modelling and forecasting tools
Proficiency in various finance and operations software (such as, ERP systems, data analytics platforms)
Digital Finance Services (DFS) knowledge is an added advantage

Job Purpose
The Sales Manager role reports to the Head Commercial and is responsible for driving growth, acquiring and managing client accounts, and ensuring Digital PayGo’s digital solutions gain increased market pe*******on. This role requires a strategic approach to sales, understanding customer needs, fostering strong client relationships, and working closely with product teams to deliver and enhance fintech solutions tailored to the market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy and Planning
Create and present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics
Monitor leads, opportunities, and sales conversions effectively
Client Acquisition and Account Management
Identify, prospect, and acquire new business clients for Digital PayGo’s solutions
Manage existing client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention rates
Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations to showcase Digital PayGo’s offerings
Market Research and Product Feedback
Gather market intelligence and customer feedback to share with product teams for continual product improvement
Stay informed on fintech trends and provide insights on how Digital PayGo can innovate to stay competitive
Sales Forecasting and Reporting
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets for Digital PayGo’s products and services
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies
Identify and target new business opportunities in the fintech and digital payments space
Team Collaboration and Leaders
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure seamless customer experience
Coach and guide junior sales staff to enhance their selling skills and performance

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
5+ years of experience in a sales role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position, preferably within fintech, digital payments, or financial services sectors
Proven experience in managing client accounts and hitting/exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
Digital Finance Services (DFS) is an added advantage
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fintech, digital payments, or electronic banking
Sales Expertise: Strong negotiation, consultative selling, and closing skills
Client Relationship Management: Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions; familiarity with CRM and analytics tools
Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills; proficiency in English and local languages an asset
Tech-Savviness: Comfortable using digital platforms and presentation software
Willingness to travel within Zambia as needed
Proven adaptability and openness to working in a fast-paced fintech environment
