Honoring the pillerw of our community

On the 17th of May 2025, BCD in partnership with Mischif Foundation and Soil Seeds growing arts, hosted a heartfelt Mother's Day Celebration for our elderly, the pillars of strength, wisdom and love in our community.

It was a beautiful day filled with music, performances, warm meals and lots of joy. We came together to recognize and appreciate the generations of women who have nurtured, led and uplifted us.

Thank you to everyone who made this day so special — our partners, supporters, volunteers more especially the elderly who graced us with their presence.
