God works in mysterious ways! When I got the brief to do the Agolo remix and I was told I would not be paid for it, the first thing I asked was “where are the separates?” so I could start working on it! Little did I know that this would be an opportunity to meet someone who’s music made me remember my upbringing, I was very young when Agolo was released but I remember it like I knew what the lyrics meant 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 2022 I get to meet Angélique Kidjo in person, I have a remix of one of her biggest songs which is receiving great support and a high spirit to work together in the near future, my heart is full 🙏🏾♥️
