Please note that we will be having a Spelling Bee for Grade 2 and Grade 3 learners in Term 3, 2026.

Round 1: Preliminary (Written) Round
This will take place on the first day of Term 3, Tuesday, 21 July 2026.
It is compulsory for all learners to participate. All learners will complete a written spelling assessment.

The top spellers from each grade will proceed to Round 2: Final Round on Tuesday, 04 August 2026.

For Round 2, top spellers will receive a new list of words to prepare for the final round. Grade 3 learners will be required to spell words aloud, while Grade 2 learners will be given words to write on their whiteboards and display (“flash”) their answers.

Please note that no parents will be allowed for either round.

The spelling list will be sent home with learners tomorrow so that they may practise over the holidays.
