POLICE APPEAL FOR HELP TO FIND MISSING 65-YEAR-OLD RUSTENBURG MAN.

Police in Rustenburg have appealed to members of the public to assist in locating 65-year-old Angelo Albino Gulela from Kroondal, who has been missing since Sunday, 17 May 2026.

According to police, Gulela was last seen on the day of his disappearance. A search operation was immediately launched, with officers conducting extensive investigations and searches in the surrounding areas. Despite these efforts, he has not yet been found.

Police said it is unknown what clothing Gulela was wearing when he went missing. He is described as dark in complexion, heavily built, and has a black moustache and beard.

Anyone with information that could assist in locating Angelo Albino Gulela is urged to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Thandeka Mosiane, on 082 772 4265.

Alternatively, members of the public can contact their nearest police station, call Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or submit anonymous tip-offs through the MySAPS App.

MARTIN MODIKOE REMAINS BEHIND BARS AS CASE IS POSTPONED.

The case against Martin Modikoe, who is accused of the brutal murder of his girlfriend, Rethabile Harriet Mosime Musime, has been postponed to 23 July 2026 for the verification of his residential address.

Modikoe appeared before the Bafokeng Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, where the matter was postponed to allow authorities to verify his address before the case can proceed.

He was arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of Mosime, who was allegedly attacked multiple times in Tlhabane in a case that has sent shockwaves through the community.

Modikoe remains in custody and is expected to return to court on 23 July 2026, when proceedings are set to continue.

MABOPANE MAN SEEKS HELP TO FIND HIS FATHER.

Freddie Tshidiso Ntlokotsi (53) of Mabopane is appealing to the public for assistance in locating his father, Daniel Masophe Masuge, who is believed to be originally from Manamakgoteng in Moruleng.

According to Freddie, Daniel was left behind in the late 1970s when his mother, Mmasethunya Mmaletsatsi Aletta Ntlokotsi, and his siblings moved away. He is now seeking to reconnect with his father and family members after many years.

Freddie says his father’s sister is known as Mmaphefo, and he hopes that someone with knowledge of the family or their whereabouts can come forward with information.

SEPUTLA SEBOGODI DIES AGED 63

Veteran actor, Seputla Sebogodi has reportedly passed away at the age of 63.

Sebogodi passed away on the evening of Wednesday 15th July 2026 following complications related to diabetes.

The late star leaves behind an extraordinary legacy in South Africa theater and television, with leading roles in Generations, Bophelo ke Semphekgo, Redemption, The River and most recently, Scandal!.

THABAZIMBI YOUTH TO MARCH AGAINST UNEMPLOYMENT AND LACK OF OPPORTUNITIES

The Thabazimbi Community Youth Structure will hold a peaceful march on Monday, 20 July 2026, to highlight growing concerns over unemployment, unfulfilled promises, and the shortage of meaningful economic opportunities for local young people.

Organisers say the march aims to call for fairness, transparency, and equal access to jobs while giving the youth a platform to have their voices heard. They emphasise that the demonstration is intended to promote constructive dialogue with relevant stakeholders and encourage lasting solutions to the challenges facing the youth of Thabazimbi.
