Have you ever noticed this?
Most leadership teams don't fail because they lack strategy.
They have the strategy. They have the talent. They have the budget. They even have the ambition.
What they don't have is an ex*****on rhythm.
I've seen it happen in SMEs again and again. The leadership team leaves a strategy session excited, aligned, and clear. Three weeks later, everyone is back in the noise.
Urgent issues take over.
Meetings turn reactive.
Priorities start competing.
Accountability becomes vague.
The problem isn't the strategy.
The problem is that the strategy has no weekly heartbeat. Here's what I've learned from coaching leadership teams:
A strategy without a weekly rhythm is just a wish with a deadline.
High-performing teams don't only ask, "What is the plan?"
They ask:
β What are we executing this week?
β Who owns what?
β What must be reviewed?
β What is stuck?
β What must change before Friday?
That is where ex*****on becomes culture, busy teams don't win. Focused teams do.
So here's my question to you:
What rhythm does your team use to keep strategy alive every week?
