My first children's book titled, "When I Grow Up" is going to hit the shelves very soon and I hope that this is the first of many. Watch this space........ but in the meantime, here is a little bit about me. I grew up in Durban, South Africa. I was an outdoors child and loved playing sport and being in nature. I always had a story or a poem in my head from a young age and during my teaching years I wrote my own fun and interactive poems for the National Eisteddfods, which were performed by my pupils and they got fantastic results. During my 25 years of teaching, I would lecture the children in my classes to follow their dreams so that they could experience joy every day and I decided to follow my own advice and do what I love doing… and that is writing. I spent many years of my life living and working in the bush and I am passionate about wildlife, animals and conservation and my second book is set in the wild and I can't wait to share it with you too.
