Feeling like you’ve been hit by a tonne of bricks today? Can barely keep your eyes open?

The fatigue that hits teachers and children on the first Friday back is very real! You are not alone. Take it easy this weekend and recharge your batteries. The academic year is a marathon, not a sprint, so don’t try to accomplish everything this weekend - whether you are a busy teacher, or an eager learner getting ready for the year ahead.

There is something special about all teachers, but neurodivergent teachers just…. get it. #teacher #teachers #mrsarensberg #neurodivergent #adhd ##asd #lovethem #compassion #empathy #imperfect 16/11/2024

A little bit of motivation for my fellow neurodivergent teachers 😁

It’s a crazy time of year - but hang in there! Your students will remember the love you have for them long after they remember a Maths mark or a report comment!

Our guests at the first Navigating Neurodiversity Expo this past weekend were kept well-hydrated thanks to the generous sponsorship of hydrogen-enriched water by Krafted Lokal.

The Krafted Lokal team were kind enough to give us a bit more info about their water:

Researchers have found that hydrogen-rich molecular water can offer several cognitive benefits, particularly in the realm of learning and memory. This specialized form of water is infused with molecular hydrogen, which has been shown to possess powerful antioxidant properties. These antioxidants can help reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the brain, both of which are known to negatively impact cognitive function.

Studies suggest that regular consumption of hydrogen-rich molecular water may enhance neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections. This is crucial for learning and memory, as it allows the brain to adapt and store new information more effectively. Additionally, hydrogen-rich water has been linked to improved energy metabolism within brain cells, providing them with the fuel needed to perform optimally.

For individuals facing learning challenges, these benefits could be particularly significant. Enhanced neuroplasticity and reduced oxidative stress can lead to better focus, quicker information processing, and improved retention of new material. This means that students, professionals, and lifelong learners alike might find it easier to overcome obstacles and achieve their educational goals.

Moreover, the simplicity of incorporating hydrogen-rich molecular water into one's daily routine makes it an accessible and practical option. While more research is certainly needed to fully understand the extent of these benefits, the early findings are promising. Embracing hydrogen-rich molecular water could become a
valuable strategy in the toolkit for overcoming learning challenges and promoting overall cognitive health.
