Meander Quilters' Guild

A New Year is upon us and we really would love to extend our reach to ladies who are interested in Quilting. If you can use a needle and thread, then you can sew and make a quilt. A basic sewing machine would obviously speed up the process, but many quilts can be hand sewn, this being very therapeutic as well. We welcome experienced and newbies. We meet at Cafe Classic at Fairways on Main centre on the last Thursday afternoon of every month. We have a well stocked library to inspire you on your journey of mastering such a satisfying hobby. We are also very privileged this year to have our SA Quilt Festival in Pietermaritzburg mid year, to feed your fabric fantasies.

The time has come to start our monthly meetings in Howick, KZN, South Africa. It has been 2 years since we all met and looking forward to seeing everyone again. Any newcomers living in the area are welcome to join us on Wednesday afternoon 2nd March 2022 at St Luke's Church at 2pm for about 2 hours, we would love to grow the quilting community.
