We joined The Long Run regional hub meeting as part of a network of member organisations coming together in person.

A strong theme throughout the week was connection, the kind that develops naturally when people are in the same space, sharing time, context, and experience.

Some of the most meaningful moments came through simple connections: exchanging challenges, comparing approaches, and speaking openly about what is working and what is still evolving.

What stood out was how quickly trust forms when there is a shared foundation of principles, even across very different operating realities.

For Bergplaas, the week reinforced the value of being part of The Long Run; staying connected, learning directly from others on the ground, and carrying those insights back into our own context.

Take note of the different areas of your life. Are the ones most important to you the ones that shine the brightest?

Sometimes all you need is a change in perspective.

A small pause, a different view, or a quiet moment can remind you of what truly matters.

What you seek is seeking you. Trust the timing of the universe. Remember to accept its gifts with grace, because sometimes what arrives is not quite how you imagined it. Yet it is often exactly what your soul was searching for.
