The ultimate disruption is refusal, breaking the traditions that hold us hostage, yet denying the power of the forces that keep us grounded.

Purgatory, to me a mental state of the “in-between” that can be paralleled to the feeling of floating. Hovering in darkness, weightless with no sense of direction or destination. Being content with existing in isolation yet not stagnant or tethered. As the tides role in, you are pushed into situations, or drift from things that might have been important but neglected.
Even in this disillusioned state of floating you have the potential to flourish, in yourself you can grow and bloom into a strong and independent creature, devoid of attachment to others or things.

A small pebble falling onto the surface of a calm pond. A minor disruption, the origin of a prospectively large rippling propagation of energy. The ripple effect that grows with each additional wave, spreading to the edges of the pond.
Like a limpet shell, we often sit, steadfast and resilient to the constant waves crashing into us upon every turn of the tide, resisting adversity but also resistant to change. When we loosen our tethers we are at the mercy of the ripples that propel us into the unknown. We need to be resilient to being capsized but the prospect of growth and transformation is set into motion, adventure and discovery is immanent.

Heat applied to a body of water, slowly intensified, unnoticed. The temperature reaches an optimal state, becoming unstable as small disturbances start prickling at its core. These small fluctuations become amplified, reaching a boiling point, rippling the surface until a climax is reached, and finally vigorously bubbling with intense energy.
Passion as a hearth for change cannot be contained, it tingles and builds up within. Energy, so primal and intense will not be ignored, it will ignite and set deep-rooted aspirations and desires into motion.
