The first photo is little Bloom at just 10 weeks old… the baby picture we shared over and over again, hoping someone would fall in love with him.

But no one did. 😭

Bloom’s story began when he was rescued at just 7 days old. He spent the first few months of his life growing up in the shelter before moving into a wonderful foster home at around 3 months old.

We truly believed his forever family would come quickly.

But somehow… they never did.

Fast forward to today, and Bloom is now 8 months old. 💔

He’s watched tiny puppies arrive, get adopted and leave. He’s watched litter after litter find their happily ever after while he continues to wait, wondering when it will finally be his turn.

We honestly cannot understand how this incredible boy has been so overlooked.

Bloom is a beautiful Mastiff x Africanis with the gentlest soul. He is fully house trained, cat friendly and beautifully socialised with dogs of all ages and sizes. His absolute favourite people in the world are his little human foster sisters. ❤️

Bloom adores children. The way his face lights up around them is something truly special. 🥹

He spends his days running through the garden, playing without a care in the world, loving every person he meets and giving his whole heart so freely.

The only thing missing from his perfect little life…

…is a family to call his own. ❤️

What an incredible day ! 🧡🐶

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming Bath College Vet Nurses and Gap Africa Projects students to our shelter for a day full of fun… and plenty of hard work ! 😜🐾

Their helping hands made a huge difference as they:
🐶 Medicated and dewormed puppies
✂️ Clipped tiny puppy nails
👂 Treated an ear infection
🩺 Cared for our parvo puppies
🐕 Took our dogs for much-needed walks
🐔 Even gave our chickens Epsom salt baths to help treat mites !

Every task, no matter how big or small, helps us provide the very best care for the animals who depend on us.

Thank you for spending your day with us, getting your hands dirty and showing such compassion to every animal you met. We always love having you at the shelter and are incredibly grateful for your continued support. We can’t wait to welcome you back again ! 🧡🐾

Meet little Ripley ! 🐶❤️

A beautiful girl with a heart of gold.

Ripley is the definition of a true rescue cocktail, and she’s officially the last little lady left from her litter. 💕

For the past two weeks, she’s been thriving in foster care, where she’s been learning wonderful house manners and making great progress with her potty training. She’s a clever little girl who is eager to keep learning with her forever family ! 🥹

Now around 10 weeks old, Ripley is full of love, playful energy, and puppy kisses. All she needs is a place to call home and a family to grow up with. ❤️

🎶 Our boy band is officially ready to split up and find their forever families ! 🥹❤️

Meet Buzz, Gus and Peter – three gorgeous 8-week-old boys with bags packed and hearts full of love.

Their mom is a beautiful mixed breed, but with those chunky builds and unique, handsome faces, we think there could be a little Boerboel in the mix too ! 😍 Whatever their breed blend, one thing is certain… they’re absolutely adorable.

These happy, playful boys are full of personality, cuddles and puppy mischief. They can’t wait to grow up surrounded by love instead of shelter walls, and we know each of them will make an incredible addition to the lucky families who choose them.

⚠️ P.S. As tempting as it may be, these boys cannot be adopted together due to . They’ll thrive best in separate homes where they can grow into confident, well-rounded dogs.
