I'm not gonna put a long birthday post about things I've learned over the yrs etc, all I can say is Alhamdulilaah that I've reached the age of 40!
Shukr to the Almighty, I just feel so so grateful 🤍

Friday, on my Birthday we received bad news that my husband's niece has passed on at a young age of only 19, may Allah SWT grant her a high place in Jannah. That made me realise once again how short Life is, it's really a quick trip and I'm extremely grateful that I made it till here because many don't.

I thought long about what I wanted for my fortieth, a party ,an overseas trip, a big ass gift but I realised that all I wanted was something simple we take for granted each day. It's Time with my family, we live together but sometimes it feels like we live past each other because of how busy life is.

And I'm just so grateful that I could spend quality time with my family including my mom this weekend ❤️
