Residents have contacted me concerned about the water outages and low water pressure across the constituency.
I have contacted Thames Water for an urgent update on when these issues will be resolved.

A tough set of elections for the party.
Labour was elected to change the country. We will work harder than ever to keep that promise.

Despite this, the Greens opposed the development because it “destroys the iconic ridge line”.
At a time of a housing crisis, Labour is building homes and giving renters new rights.
The Greens tried to stop these council homes being built.
Millions of renters across the country are waking up to the biggest shake-up of renters’ rights in a generation.
The Renters’ Rights Act has kicked in today.
✅This means no more families living with the fear of losing their home for no good reason.
✅We’ve ended Section 21 no-fault evictions.
✅From today, your rent can only go up once a year.
✅Bidding wars that forced the price of rent up, are banned.
✅From today, you can’t be turned away because you have children or receive benefits.
✅And if you want to keep a pet, your landlord needs a good reason to say no. 🐱🐶
These changes are about raising standards and giving families the stability they deserve — while keeping clear grounds in place for responsible landlords.
This is real change that will transform the lives of the 11 million people in England renting privately.
Insecure renting is over. The Renters’ Rights Act will finally provide security for 11 million private renters.
